Before / After

Something in Between?

Sometimes I am overwhelmed. Sometimes, underwhelmed. Can I just be "whelmed"?

Updated photos on my Blue Goose renovations coming soon...just as soon as I can find where I packed my camera!

R.I.P.

J. D. Salinger

My second favorite author. He became so after I read "Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters."

Also, on January 27, 2010, America's most honest teacher--Howard Zinn--died.

From Three to One

I'm finally in just one home: The Blue Goose. Whew and hooray! I was house sitting until Monday and did not finally finish moving out of my rental until yesterday evening around 7 PM. Glad to be in.

Universal Time

The backside of my daily desk calendar has little tidbits of trivia. A recent one gives the phases of the moon--new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter--in universal time. From what vantage point does one stand to see these phases?

Facelifts

I'm headed in the direction of classic Mexicana colors and decor. You can see this in the kitchen color, I've selected.

Last Look Outdoors

Side yard.

Canales.

Adobe dog house. Yes. Adobe. With windows and carpet.

The Blue Goose, with Sandia Mts. in background.

Guest room for you to stay in.

My room.

Just wait until you see the changes I'm making! Yeah, that will mean more house pic postings in the future. For tomorrow, we'll take one more look around the outside.

Tea/music room, off of main room (door leads back into main room).

Facing north in this room; bathroom ahead on right side.

Inside that bathroom. Full bathtub is out of sight, to the right.

Inside bathroom off of kitchen.

Is "supportive critical mass" oxymoronic?

Further Inside

On into the kitchen, entering from main room.

Looking from kitchen, back out into main room.

My very first piece of mail arrives!
A bill, of course.

Inside The Blue Goose

main room, north side, kitchen ahead with bathroom further on; side (tea/music) room to left...
