Poetry in Motion

It was another morning of nearby balloons. This seemed appropriate as today is my brother's (Dustin's) birthday; the last morning balloons were this close was last month on my birthday.

This one came really close. Just across the ditch in my backyard.

At a certain point, the hot air redistributes itself. This causes another burst of color.

The final settling.

Strange but very cool parallel there. So could you resist or did you end up running across the road to help pack it? Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Yeah, what are the odds?! Brian and Susanna came out and told me that they had ordered the balloon to drop in, pick me up and take me on an 80-day trip around the world. Had to get to a meeting, or I would have gone over.
