A friend gave me two $100 tickets for a fancy reception tonight. Since I don't have a date, I will only use one, but I am determined to have fun anyway.
garsh dang it, if only these things were more easily exchanged. (Like, if only we had a Concorde at our disposal.) We have had several ticket pairs bestowed upon us that would have been perfect to share with you, from my mom's chorus performing the Messiah (they're really good, you would have come with me) to the annual Brew Fest (you would have gone with Ben). Someday, perhaps.

Maybe they should host the Messiah's Brew Fest so you and Ben could attend an event together.
