I thought that the world had gone silent, my new computer gone dead or, at the very least, that my eyes were pitifully failing me. Instead, just as I suspected, there are folks out there who...now this will be hard to believe, I know...better be sitting down when you read this: There are folks reading this blog without posting comments. GASP!!!But true. In fact, I just heard from two different people in the last 24 hours that they check out this site daily...without posting. The horror!
So this post is an exercise in facing your fears. It's time to come out of that cyber closet and post a note.
Okay now. The first step is admitting that you have a problem. Just face your computer screen and say aloud, "Hello. My name is ______ and I have a phobia of posting comments to Wynote."
Done that? Good.
Now the rest of you reading, welcome that person. Go ahead. I'm waiting....
See how easy that was? Doesn't that feel great to have that confession off of your chest? You can now freely post comments with abandon!
And if you still have some traces of hesitation, you can always schedule an appointment with me.

This is the first time I've ever read a post on your blog. I just wanted to post a comment to get your hopes up that their were more people reading your blog without posting... good day.
I .... just can't :-( I might just hired someone to do this for me!
Keep it up. You words are real and show others some of what it is like to be gay and outside of a big city... the day to day of a 30 something building a profession from scratch in a suburban town. Calling Ang Lee! maybe there is a movie idea there yet? Continue the plot and participate!
I, too, have been lurking. I, too, visit here everyday. I enjoy your writing very much, (even when I don't agree with you).
But, I'm just going to continue to lurk behind-the-scenes for a while longer.

Glad that you sometimes disagree with me. If my experiences and view of life were just like yours, there'd be no reason for this blog. It would just be the experience and opinion of everyone else.
well the comment thing is confusing...which buttons do I press :-) and I can't go back. Yes...for a PhD in computer science I'm very impatient with poorly designed user interfaces...meaning ones that require more than one mouse click
